Jim began drag racing when the sport was still fairly new in the United States. In 1962, Jim began racing and building engines. He won two World Championships in American Hot Rod Association as the owner and driver.

Driver Carl Huels won titles such as "Competition Eliminator Runner-Up" at the Gatornationals in NHRA and "SuperStock Class Winner" at the US Nationals in Indy.

Jim helped organize the Ozark Mountain Super Shifters along with LeRoy Tarr, Greg McKinney, Jim McGuire and others.

The present engine/dyno shop was built in 1996.

Sally Ruble's career progressed from a home economics/art teacher to graphic layout artist to screen printing. Her love of artwork led her to purchase her screen printing equipment in 1986. A few years ago, she added embroidery to her list of services. Sally designs, screen prints/embroiders various apparel for individual racers, race teams, race tracks and special event races. Apparel for schools and businesses are also available.
